Reviving cedars and cypresses

Is it possible to revive cedar or cypress trees?

A natural, sustainable product: Vegetal Color is an eco-responsible algae-based colorant. It is similar to paint for plants, with immediate results that are harmless to flora and fauna.

Some customers have kept the effect for several years on slow-growing plants.

In this case, the Thuja hedge was partly brown, due to the different sizes. Vegetal Color gave it a beautiful new look in less than ten minutes. 2 years later, the plant is still covered.

After cleaning the cedar of broken branches, spider webs, bird nests, etc., apply 1 liter of DARK GREEN (covers approx. 30 m of hedge 2 m high, depending on the condition of the plant).

For application, wear gloves and protective gear (colouring product). Then spray the "plant paint" onto your hedge (or other plant substrate) and leave to dry. 10 minutes application time.

Drying time: 1-2 hours

After mowing the lawn, and removing dead leaves, waste, etc., apply 1 L of Vegetal Color Green diluted with water.

A 1 L container of Vegetal Color covers an area ranging from 100 to 200 m², depending on the state of the plant support.

During application, protect the surroundings (terrace), and wear protective gloves (coloring product).

Using a sprayer, apply the product to the entire surface of the lawn. In the present case, we have set 30 minutes to cover the entire lawn evenly.

Subsequently, it is necessary let the product dry for a period ranging from 1 to 2 hours depending on weather conditions.

On the occasion of the Tour de France 2017, the city of Blagnac carried out one of the biggest projects we have done to date:

2.3 meter letters,
165 m2 bike,
More than 600 m2 of covered area.

The starting logo is as follows. The location study was carried out to fit harmoniously into the allocated space: the setting of the botanical garden of the Bishop's Palace.

The project offered two possibilities: white background or green background, to bring out the other colors. The difficulty was to position the elements between them, to the nearest centimeter, so that the City teams could carry out the project themselves.

On the occasion of Tour de France, a city wishes to create a logo on grass, for its promotion to spectators and television viewers. For the event, the city of Brioude asked us for a lawn bike.

The project: a logo on grass

The working logo is as follows :

The study is carried out on 3 possible dimensions:

90 m2
200 m2
360 m2

The background is made with an underlay of green, and the following colors are used for the logo: white for the whole, yellow and orange for the city logo on the inside of the wheels.

For a faithful reproduction of the visual on a support as volatile as grass, we will use stencils, attached to each other.

We will therefore "cut" the initial visual into rectangular stencils of 1.2m x 1.6m. Depending on the desired final size, the number of stencils varies:

18 stencils for the 90 m2
30 stencils for the 200 m2
50 stencils for the 360 m2

On site, the ground is prepared by mowing the area 3 days before. As this is a television image, the direction of mowing is from the bottom of the logo to the top, in order to maximize the visual of the dye, and to make it uniform.

The GREEN background is done first, to give a homogeneous base coat.

The stencils are then placed one by one to make the logo.
