In this case, a cypress had suffered from too much watering. It is possible that a cypress takes its colors during the attack of pests (red spider, canker, etc.).

On the occasion of the Tour de France, a city wishes to produce its logo on the road, for its promotion to viewers.

The initial logo is as follows.

It will be carried out with a red coloring, for good visibility on the road. Several variants are introduced: white background, different texts.

The study is made for 3 final dimensions on the road: 2.3m, 3.3m, 4.1m.

The stencil work consists of cutting the image into rectangles of 1.2m x 1.6m. Depending on the desired final size, the number of stencils varies:

3 stencils for 2.3 m
4 stencils for 3.3 m
5 stencils for 4.1 m

Installation is done at night so as not to hamper circulation. The safety of the teams is ensured by the municipal police services.

On the occasion of the Tour de France 2017, the city of Blagnac carried out one of the biggest projects we have done to date:

2.3 meter letters,
165 m2 bike,
More than 600 m2 of covered area.

The starting logo is as follows. The location study was carried out to fit harmoniously into the allocated space: the setting of the botanical garden of the Bishop's Palace.

The project offered two possibilities: white background or green background, to bring out the other colors. The difficulty was to position the elements between them, to the nearest centimeter, so that the City teams could carry out the project themselves.

The starting logo is as follows. The study is made on several dimensions, and the one chosen will be about 100 m2.

As this is a large logo, we will constitute a set of stencils, to faithfully reproduce the visual identity of the logo on site. For this project you will need 15 plates.

The undercoat is applied in the afternoon.

The logo is placed in the evening so that the land is available. It is done on dry ground, watering stopped.

On the occasion of Tour de France, a city wishes to create a logo on grass, for its promotion to spectators and televiewers. For the event, the city of Brioude asked us for a lawn bike.

The project: a logo on grass

The working logo is as follows :

The study is carried out on 3 possible dimensions:

90 m2
200 m2
360 m2

The background is made with an underlay of green, and the following colors are used for the logo: white for the whole, yellow and orange for the city logo on the inside of the wheels.

For a faithful reproduction of the visual on a support as volatile as grass, we will use stencils, attached to each other.

We will therefore "cut" the initial visual into rectangular stencils of 1.2m x 1.6m. Depending on the desired final size, the number of stencils varies:

18 stencils for the 90 m2
30 stencils for the 200 m2
50 stencils for the 360 m2

On site, the ground is prepared by mowing the area 3 days before. As this is a television image, the direction of mowing is from the bottom of the logo to the top, in order to maximize the visual of the dye, and to make it uniform.

The GREEN background is done first, to give a homogeneous base coat.

The stencils are then placed one by one to make the logo.
